About the role 🚀
Bigblue is growing fast and so is the volume and complexity of its financial challenges. That’s why we are hiring a Finance Manager to assist the Head of Finance in daily financial tasks and in fundraising initiatives
This role presents a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the finance function within a fast-growing international startup and to collaborate closely with senior executives
Collaborate with the founders and the department heads to create and update budgets
Prepare monthly budget & performance presentations for each department
Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, reports and presentations for the Board and for external stakeholders
Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to drive decision-making
Support the founders and the Head of Finance in potential fundraising activities
Provide necessary documentation and support to the R&D tax credits consultants
Assist the Account Management team with customer dunning processes
Verify and process payment for provider invoices
Assist the Account management team throughout each billing session
Conduct checks to identify billing anomalies
Validate and generate credit notes for our customers and customer invoices related to non-recurring activities
Collaborate with external accountants to facilitate accurate and timely financial accounts
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide necessary documentation and support for audits
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in M&A, Transaction services or in a finance department
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- FRENCH bilingual and fluent in English
