Responsibilities

• Develop effective web scraping Python code using tools like BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, and Regular Expressions to extract data from targeted websites.
• Maintain and update existing Python scripts, adapt to website structure changes, and contribute to debugging and troubleshooting efforts.
• Ιmplement data transformation, cleansing, validation, and correction processes in Databricks using Notebooks (PySpark, SQL).
• Conduct root cause analysis of data issues, investigating inconsistencies, errors, and unexpected results.
• Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand and meet data requirements and objectives.
• Support key business operations by participating in efforts to automate routine tasks and workflows across Data and QA teams.
• Document all programming tasks and procedures for future reference and troubleshooting.
