As Amazon is pouring billions into its e-commerce infrastructure, independent brands are struggling to offer the same level of trust and experience to their customers. They're now faced with a difficult choice: hop onto the Amazon train or lose customers every day. Bigblue helps independent brands fight back. Together with companies like Stripe and Shopify, we're arming the direct-to-consumer rebellion. Shopify powers their e-shop, Stripe makes payment trivial, and we, Bigblue store and deliver their products around the world.
Founded in 2018, we have raised $18M, and we are now more than 110 employees working from our offices in Paris, Madrid, London.
About the role
Next to its traditional sales channel, Bigblue leverages a network of partners (development agencies, advertising agencies, SAAS tools...) to accelerate its growth through indirect opportunities. Today, Bigblue works with a network of +100 partners in France, that we aim to nurture and scale in order to get more leads, close deals faster and create a real community around Bigblue.
As a Partnership Manager in the UK 🇬🇧, in close collaboration with Partnerships team EMEA, you will have a strategic impact on Bigblue’s growth locally being in charge of:
- Developing and nurturing a partnership network to create new opportunities and accelerate the closing of current going deals.
- Representing Bigblue within the UK e-commerce and fulfillment ecosystem.
Missions
- Create and develop positive and trusted relationships with the right partners in order to source leads, SQLs (Sales Qualified Leads that match Bigblue's Ideal Client Profile), open new deals and sign new clients.
- In order to achieve Lead Generation and Deal Closing goals, you'll set up regular business reviews with the most relevant partners to help generate as much pipe as possible
- Still to reach our objectives, you'll launch events and webinars around e-commerce topics in collaboration with your local partners (acquisition, payment, billing, conversion, emailing) to foster new leads sharing
- Help develop & build our community of e-commerce brands locally securing sponsorship opportunities, organizing events, locking speakers.
- Network through events, trade fairs etc : you'll happen to travel regularly across the UK & Ireland
- Monitor Partnerships KPIs against the global Acquisition Business Plan to reflect on past actions results towards leads generation and improve the local strategy
Requirements 🙌
- 1-2+ years of sales (Account Manager, Account Executive positions) / partnerships management experience
- Relationship skills: You thrive from negotiating with market leaders, building relationships and managing partnerships.
- Highly standalone person, autonomous and reliable.
- Empathetic and solid situational intelligence.
- A passion for e-commerce + already a partner manager in the ecosystem is a big plus
- Native English speaker is preferred
