About the role 🚀
Drive operational excellence and scalability by managing a high-performing team, optimizing warehouse performance, and implementing strategic solutions. With Bigblue’s proprietary high-performing WMS as a cornerstone of our operations, this role is pivotal in leveraging cutting-edge technology to support growth. Following a year of significant expansion—including a 70% increase in hub activity, the onboarding of numerous new merchants in 2024, and the recruitment of a solid team of five talented professionals—the role demands an experienced leader ready to tackle the challenges of rapid scaling. Focus areas include achieving KPIs, enhancing merchant experiences, spearheading process improvements, and fostering key partnerships to sustain and amplify Bigblue's growth and long-term business objectives.
Own KPIs that deliver an exceptional merchant experience
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team of 5+ members: Drive operational excellence and exceed performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with operational guidelines: Maintain quality and consistency across all warehouse processes.
- Hold warehouse partners accountable: Enforce high-performance SLAs for speed and accuracy.
- Provide actionable performance insights: Deliver clear reports with improvement plans to drive continuous excellence.
Drive the evolution of processes and systems
- Identify and resolve systemic challenges: Leverage insights to uncover operational inefficiencies and spearhead initiatives that drive scalability and resilience.
- Design and implement high-impact solutions: Recommend and oversee advanced methods, tools, and procedures that deliver measurable performance improvements.
- Track learnings and best practices to design to our standard operating procedures
- Lead transformational projects: Drive strategic warehouse initiatives, such as mechanization and automation, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.
- Influence technology evolution: Partner with product teams to shape the design and deployment of WMS Atlas, ensuring it meets the dynamic needs of a world-class logistics operation.
Strategically lead as Bigblue’s Operations Expert
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships: Establish and maintain high-value relationships with key warehouse stakeholders to foster alignment and collaboration.
- Be the bridge between strategy and execution: Act as a trusted advisor to Growth and Customer Success teams, providing expert guidance on warehouse operations to support commercial objectives.
- Take ownership of strategic merchant and prospect visits to drive business growth.
- Own financial and operational performance
- Drive productivity and efficiency within warehouse operations, aligning output with strategic business goals.
- Oversee workforce planning to ensure optimal resource allocation in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Analyze and challenge warehouse cost structures, ensuring maximum value and accountability from partners.

Requirements 🙌

  • Deep experience in managing complex supply chain ecosystems, including warehouse optimization, partner management, and technology integration
  • Manager of 5+ people in previous experiences
  • Not afraid of operational day-to-day, ability to manage & prioritize emergencies.
  • Takes ownership of tasks, proactively addresses challenges, and drives results with efficiency and determination
  • Proactive problem solver with a hands-on mentality and a drive to tackle challenges head-on
  • Ability to shape and execute large-scale logistics strategies
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills in French and in English
  • Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze complex datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
