Senior Engineer (Bunny Storage)

We are looking for a talented Senior Engineer to help with the bunny.net Storage team. The Senior Engineer will contribute to the engineering of our globally distributed, high-performing bunny.net storage platform, ensuring exceptional service and value for our customers.

What will you do?

• Development of the system, backend & API components.
• Optimize and design the overall architecture of the object storage service.
• Design and optimize Cassandra database.
• Implement and optimize low-level disk Input/Output operations.
• Design and implementation of new features.
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests.
• Document code, APIs, and system architecture.
• Implement and optimize a CI/CD pipeline.

What will you add?

• Proficient in C# and .NET development (C++/Rust/Golang and similar are good as well)
• In-depth knowledge of Cassandra database, including data modeling, query optimization, and cluster management.
• Proficiency in the design and implementation of file system structures, including directory structures, file allocation tables, and metadata handling.
• Experience with using object storage services.
• Enthusiasm for developing applications where performance is critical.
• Independence and excellent communication skills are needed for remote work.
• Creativity at problem-solving.
