Senior Engineer (WAF)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to work on an in-house build WAF solution. You will design, implement, and test innovative WAF security solutions that will be a new security benchmark on the market.

What will you do?

• Have a "hands-on" approach in designing and building in-house, greenfield WAF solutions.
• Innovate, develop, test, and sustain highly scalable security solutions to safeguard our ecosystem and customer solutions.
• Focus on architecture, planning, and system implementation.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and procedures.
• Responsible for writing and maintaining tests.
• Manage and update documentation.
• Opportunity to author patent applications.

What will you add?

• 4-5+ years of commercial experience as a Software developer / Software Engineer working with C# (C++/Rust/Golang are good as well).
• Proven experience developing security solutions.
• Good understanding of layer 7 protocols.
• Excellent understanding of different kinds of attacks and potential attack vectors.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams to set timescales.
• Independence and effective communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of Secure Coding practices.
• Ability to detect performance-critical issues and optimize them.
• Experience with CI/CD and Agile environments.
• Good to have - knowledge and experience developing AI solutions.
