At Lace Lithography, we’re developing a revolutionary chip lithography system that will redefine how chips are made for decades to come. Our team is scaling fast—and we’re now hiring a Head of People to lead our people strategy and operations across our Bergen and Barcelona offices.

You’ll report to the COO and take full ownership of HR strategy, personal development systems, recruitment process design, onboarding, and culture development. You’ll ensure every Lacer is supported, challenged, and set up to thrive.

This role requires regular travel between Bergen and Barcelona.

What you’ll do

• Own and lead HR strategy, aligning people operations with company goals
• Improve and scale our recruitment process (with our Talent Acquisition Specialist)
• Drive onboarding, relocation, and immigration support for global hires
• Design and lead company-wide personal development programs
• Be the key driver and sensor of our company culture
• Organize offsites, internal events, and people-focused external activities
• Ensure labor law compliance across jurisdictions (Norway, Spain, etc.)
• Build scalable people systems, tools, and processes
• Advise leadership on org design, team health, and engagement

Who you are

• 5+ years of experience in People/HR roles (ideally in tech or startups)
• Experience across HR strategy, operations, and talent development
• Comfortable working across cultures, disciplines, and locations
• Proactive, empathetic, and great at building trust across teams
• Strong understanding of recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
• Fluent in English (Spanish or Norwegian is a plus)
• Based in or willing to relocate to Bergen or Barcelona
• Open to regular travel between our two sites
