About the Role:

Lace Lithography is looking for an IT & Security Operations Engineer to support day-to-day IT operations and help strengthen endpoint security across the company.

This Bergen-based role is focused on employee support, endpoint management, workplace technology, and security operations. You will be a key point of contact for IT issues while helping maintain a secure, reliable, and compliant device fleet across our offices in three locations.

You will work closely with internal teams to support onboarding and offboarding, manage employee devices, maintain IT documentation, monitor device compliance, and assist with security operations tasks such as alert triage, compliance checks, and tooling administration.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support and Workplace Operations

  • Provide L2/L3 support for employee devices, workplace tools, corporate networks, and endpoint-related issues, both remotely and hands-on.

  • Act as an escalation point for IT and security-related tickets, including triage, troubleshooting, resolution, and escalation where needed.

  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including device preparation, account access, hardware returns, and related documentation.

  • Help maintain reliable workplace IT services across offices, including printers, meeting room equipment, Wi-Fi, VPN access, and office connectivity.

Endpoint Management and Asset Administration

  • Monitor device fleet compliance to ensure endpoints are correctly enrolled in required security and management tools, such as MDM and EDR platforms.

  • Support endpoint configuration, patching, software deployment, device lifecycle management, and compliance checks.

  • Maintain accurate IT asset records, device status information, and operational documentation.

  • Help improve IT processes, support workflows, and internal knowledge base articles.

Network and Security Operations

  • Support network administration and troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and office connectivity issues.

  • Coordinate or escalate more advanced network issues to internal or external specialists when appropriate.

  • Review and triage security alerts and events from endpoint and security platforms.

  • Assist with operational security tasks, including compliance monitoring, security tooling administration, and incident follow-up.

Qualifications:

Required

  • +3 years experience in IT operations, IT support, endpoint management, or a similar technical role.

  • Proven Experience with Jamf or another MDM / endpoint management platform.

  • Working knowledge of corporate networking and troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and end-user connectivity.

  • Strong written and spoken English.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

  • Experience writing support documentation or employee-facing technical guides.

Preferred

  • Experience with Jamf Pro.

  • Experience supporting distributed offices or hybrid teams.

  • Exposure to EDR, device compliance, endpoint hardening, or vulnerability remediation workflows.

  • Familiarity with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with identity and access management workflows, such as user provisioning, access reviews, and offboarding.

  • CompTIA A+

  • CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA

  • CompTIA Security+

  • Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (or equivalent in AWS)
