About the role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced IT Manager to join our fast growing team. This role will report to the head of IT Security and infrastructure. This is an on-site role 5 days week due to our office located in Princeton. We will need someone in the office to help troubleshoot employee inquiries.

What you'll do:

  • As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overall vision, strategy, planning, and execution of all IT functions across the company
  • You will manage the IT team, which is responsible for a wide variety of systems & tools, including employee onboarding, hardware/software provisioning, license management, and the helpdesk
  • Develop the corresponding strategy for systems design and development
  • Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions
  • Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions
  • Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement
  • Prepare cost–benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary, and monitor vendors to ensure that they’re offering the best-possible service and value for business needs
  • Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed
  • Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups

About you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information System, Information Technology or relevant field
  • 8 years experience in information technology, system administration or network administration
  • 5 years operating system experience (Windows or Linux server)
  • Hands on experience with designing, implementing, and executing technical projects
  • Skilled in demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Strong knowledge of network technologies
  • Production environment expertise in routers and switches from one or more vendors
  • Security-minded familiarity with PCI data and the compliance requirements
  • Skilled in enterprise computer management, networks, and monitoring
  • Experienced in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Advanced at enterprise web application SSO technologies
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, fostering cooperation and alignment across teams
  • Excellent time management skills; Ability to react and respond to the critical demands of the department with competing deadlines
  • Excellent technical skills must be able to use both PC and Mac operating systems and proficient in google suite products, data analysis and internet technologies

Major pluses:

  • Have experience in hyper-growth, start-up environment
  • Prior experience building new office IT infrastructure
  • Experience in working with BPOs
  • Experience working with pci-dss or CISSP certification
  • Show an appreciation for nuance and a desire to build consensus in a diverse and multicultural environment
Compensation and Benefits:
The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training.
