Job overview

Reelgood is seeking a Data Analyst with a strong background in SQL to join our remote data team. The primary focus of this role will be analyzing and interpreting large data sets of streaming catalog and user behavior to inform business decisions and drive company growth. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of hands-on experience with analytics, SQL and a solid understanding of statistical methods, as well as the ability to work closely with different teams to develop data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Sales, Product, and Marketing teams by providing data-driven insights through tailored queries, reports, and analyses.
• Develop, update, and manage dashboards and reports.
• Evaluate and improve data tracking processes to ensure accurate collection of user behavior data.
• Create clear and easy-to-understand visuals and assets for data communication.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to identify and solve problems using analytical methods.
• Proven experience with SQL in handling large amounts of data.
• Familiarity with statistical computing languages such as R to extract insights from large data sets.
• Experience in data collection, cleaning, and normalization from various sources for statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with statistical techniques and concepts such as regression, statistical tests, and data distributions, as well as their proper application.
• Effective in communicating technical and complex information in a clear and simple manner.
• Expertise in presenting data visually to effectively communicate project results.
• Experience in developing interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, QuickSight, or Tableau to effectively communicate insights to other business units.
