The Data Engineering team are responsible for the ingestion of operational and analytical data to our centralised Data Platform in AWS. This empowers our internal stakeholders (product, customer facing and risk based teams) to make the right data-driven decisions to drive better customer experience and business outcomes by building credit risk models, analysing product performance, segmenting customer into cohorts, call centre performance etc. Overall, we have a cloud focused Data Engineering team which we are planning to scale in size, the ETL team (focused on Finance and Reg Reporting), the DivideBuy Team (an acquisition, focused on building maturity a capability) and Analytics Engineers (building out critical datamarts).

The data function has grown, and as such we need to ensure we have the right levels of support throughout. As the Data Engineering Manager you will play a key role in the success of our business and the effectiveness of our Data Engineering team. We are looking for someone passionate about developing people and nurturing them as data engineers to build an enterprise grade data platform whilst supporting our technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
