We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer who is responsible for developing new features and services to help us continue to deliver a great product to our customers that helps our company and our customers' money go further. In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who is able help to uncover complex customer or business problems and then work with stakeholders to come up with solutions. As a senior you'll then work collaboratively with other developers and QA to architect, implement and test the solution before releasing to our customers where you'll continue to own and monitor the performance and enhance and improve the solution whilst working collaboratively with the product team.
You'll have the opportunity to come in and help form the core part of an expanding UK development team as we are looking to develop exciting new features such as a full headless integration targeted toward our enterprise retail partners or enhancing and improving our collection technology to ensure our customers can pay regularly.
We also work with an offshore development partner who are embedded within our development department and working with them as true partners and helping to bring them out of the service mentality and become part owner of our product will be a key challenge.

  • Improve the development maturity of the team and the wider department

About you:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Solid PHP experience – specifically Laravel
  • Continuous integration experience
  • VueJS/ReactJS exposure
  • Experience with Docker
